Ah....yes I can relate. The good old GPA struggle. I've had a handful of passionless awful tenured teachers as well, especially during my first two years (I'm doing a double major so it will be at least 5 years for me). I got a good handful of C's but honestly I think it was my own fault for winging the entire course >.<
I found that self study is the only way to go for teachers like that. I didn't bother showing up to class for one of my classes cause I found the prof completely useless. Instead I focused my time on self studying with a textbook and practice questions. I was able to pull an A after that~
The forums and chatting community here has always been a lot slower than other places I used to go to like Gaiaonline, but I like the people here much better so I decided to return ^^
Yea..I had quite a few knuffels on my mule but they're beyond my reach now ;-;

I had an ECON prof I had trouble understanding. I chose to drop the course and not to major in ECON. I wasn't really interested nor was I doing too well in the other ECON class, anyway, though the prof said my grade was quite high for his class.
Anyway, if you can somehow prove that mule is yours (paypal donation records, for example) then Firn might be able to do something about that when she's done with her irl stuff.

I don't think it's such a big thing anymore. Long time ago, Starkad coded to see who fed your Knuffel but not who played with them. Since you can't be verified for playing with people's Knuffel, some people would only feed or only pay for feeds.
And then there were some other users who'd bot but only play thinking the admins wouldn't be able to see it. Which was and is wrong.

I once had a friend drop a course he wasn't interested in even though he had 100% in it. He dropped it near the last week of school too, all because he didn't want to write the term paper >.< Crazy kid....
Unfortunately I didn't donate on that account and since I've left it for almost 3 years, I barely remember what the last transaction or anything was on it ):

...This sounds like me, lol. Although, I would have probably refused to take the course initially because of the term paper--not drop at the end of the course. >.>; Dropping a course that late does not look good on your transcript...
For class with horrible professors, I find you need to self-study and study with other really smart people. There's always people who know what they're doing in a class and if you can become friends with them, learning/studying becomes much more efficient. :3 Sometimes studying on your own is not always the best.

Well, he could have had his reasons. I had a Philosophy class I dropped near the end of the semester that I was actually doing quite well in but I just couldn't cope with it and my depression at the same time. And I didn't drop the ECON class I was doing "well" on. I just told the prof I won't be continuing with the major when he asked. I WAS flattered that he found my grades high enough to personally find me and ask if I'll be seeing him in the next semester, but I just wasn't interested in the subject.Unfortunately I didn't donate on that account and since I've left it for almost 3 years, I barely remember what the last transaction or anything was on it ):
Ah, that's rather too bad. Tell me the account and I'll see if at least the IP addresses match at some point.

Ahhh, okay!
Makes sense!! I can see why people would only feed then!
I still don't understand why people bot. Like is it really worth the chance of getting caught and being banned? I dont think so!!

I don't know. I guess they feel that they shouldn't have to work hard for something like a game.

@Hikarisoul16: That's what I was telling him! He didn't listen to me though >.<
I am a huge preacher of the self study method. Even if you have a good prof :P For me personally, things just stick better if I come to understand things on my own (as I'm sure is the case with lots of other people too). I generally don't like studying with other people though as they tend to just confuse me sometimes ):
@Ziaheart: His reason was mainly that he really hated the information and stuff in the course. He found it bland but tried his best to stick with it. But in the end he just really didn't want to write the paper >.< He still has an excellent GPA though~
I can definitely relate though...I was going through depression during highschool and my first year of university. But instead of dropping or taking a break from school I just took my bad grades....Really messed up my GPA but I'm hoping I can still fix it in the years to come =/
Mule is Love and Chocolate!
I'm not sure what e-mail I used for that account but I'm suspicious that the e-mail is now inactive too haha x.x
