When we first got together he had never seen any of the Harry Potter movies or read the books ... he acted like he was too cool for that stuff.
9 years later and we have Harry Potter marathons probably once very 6 months and he LOVES those movies so much, which makes me love HIM even more LoL. Now, I have to figure out how to get him to sit down and read the damn books haha.

I could never get into Harry Potter, but my mom loves it. My daughter wants me to read her the series. oO;
I do love Grimbold's Other World. It's probably my favorite fantasy story.

I first experienced Harry Potter through the audio books. Maybe that's something for him, Nikki, if he doesn't feel like sitting down with the book?

Kevin is like that with a lot of movies. Lord of the Rings, Gone with the Wind, others I can't think of. Said that they'd be lame but then he loved them. lol.
Harry Potter is actually what got me into reading. I'm very thankful for the series.
You should totally read the books to her. It'll be a great bonding experience. And you can get into the series too.

DC, that book there sounds interesting, thanks for that, I am going to write that name down!!
I love Harry Potter. I started quite late, I was 16 I think, but I fell deeply in love <3
I had friends say that, too, that they didn't really like it and don't even wanna try to watch the movies, but they ended up being convinced to watch 'em and some really like it now. One friend even was hinting to have another marathon. The same with Lord of the Rings xD
I played 5.5 hours of volleyball yesterday, I feel so sore today xD

Yes, I will have to start reading it to her. I actually tried to read it around the time my mom got into, but I think I only got up to where Harry entered Hogworts and then I got bored. So reading it to her is going to be hard.
It's 2:18am. I woke up from sleep around midnight and coudn't go back to bed. So my brain is bleh.
