Yeah, I don't know how she manages it, but she increased her salary and even convinced them to create a new position that didn't exist before so she could do it XD She has crazy negotiating skills.

Wow, one could say we've all even been doing a lot of reading right in this thread :mcwink:
okay I'll see myself out XD

Exactly, I wish she would teach me as well, I mean I'm her daughter so someone needs to be in a good position to support her when she's older XD

Is that so? I can't remember because I can't hold numbers in my head haha. I only go by who I have as a friend on GoodReads because you can see friends' challenges there. Some people are way far ahead of me, it's crazy.

Oh you're on goodreads as well? :)

True, you should state the exact same thing when you see her next time, I am sure you can make her help you xD

What are the books you're planning on reading? Will you not know until later in your classes, or do they give you a list at the start of the year?

I've added you there :) Julia or CloakStoneWand :) I don't use it that much though :o

As I am doing my master's degree in linguistics I don't have to read specific books really, it's more like we choose a topic at a seminar that we want to write about and based on that we have to do a lot of research, those are the books/articles I have to read. :)
