Wow, that's pretty bold of them to do that ... that sucks.
As for the pet that gives out the sweets, mine is still doing it too. LoL

Not my place to say either way honestly. It's very hard finding good workers for a 7 Eleven.

Its really seem to people who take advantage of the small staff to slack off, or to do bad when the other employee isn't looking that get hired. We don't have many good workers at all and we recently lost two of them because they got tired of the crap the lazy ones left behind.

I just can't bear people who are like that. Even if you think it's a poor job, it's still a job. You should put your all in even when you don't care too much about it. That's what you're being paid for. Most people don't seem to realise that if they slack off or rip the company off, someone else has to pick up extra work because of them, and usually without getting paid extra.

People who have a good work ethic are valuable employees at this point in time.... I know a number of people who own businesses and they all say that if they get a good employee they don't mind training them and they'd rather do that, than to hire someone who is already trained but doesn't really seem to want to work.

Yeah it is hard to find people with a good work ethic anywhere right now. Everyone seems to think they deserve something for nothing.

It's a strange sort of thing, but sometimes I look at that and think, "wow, we must have done something really well as a society if we have so much abundance that people take things like that for granted. If we were still struggling, no one would ever be able to dream of feeling entitled."
And for just a moment, it seems like a weirdly good thing.
And then I get hold of myself and go back to viewing it as a problem that should be addressed.

I totally agree with that. If someone is willing to work then you know you can get anything done so long as you take the time to train them. It's funny how many people may have the qualifications and skills but just aren't mature enough to apply themselves.
