I'm having such a laugh at the thought of pronouncing knuffle with a silent K c'':

Back when I was Totenveloren1, I knew 200% people would never correctly pronounce my username haha, but I didn't think about it too much

I pronounce Nyuu as a short (Japanese anime style) nya but with u instead of a :'P

You know like "Nyu!" ^owo^

That's correct :mccute: it's incorrect when pronouncing it like "nyou" :'D

It's funny because in English, pronouncing the K would be a bit of a joke too. Like something my dad would say. He might put on a funny voice and ask me to pass the "kuh-nif" instead of knife XD (actually pretty sure he has done that haha)

I actually think the weirdest thing is that its really easy for us to speak English and then properly not pronounce k like in knife, but for English speakers it can be insanely hard to speak our specific vowels, consonants and the like :P

um the two sounds written with "th" are far from the easiest for many non-native english speakers
