What was worse was we went to competition. And these stupid asses knew that. Luckily we never lost because of them.
I was in regular choir and a little group too.
They were not part of the group.
Thank God >Bu

Oh we went to competitions, too. And we did pretty well. And they did pretty well. They skipped practice but they got away with it because they were both super strong singers. They were in both choir and vocal jazz. One of them went to study Opera and the other cut an independent album. But that just meant that I had HUGE shoes to fill when they were absent. :qlol:
I once tried out for Soprano and my voice was nowhere near it xD
Sometimes Alto was too high for me on some songs so I'd switch to Tenor.
Since we only had one Alto (who didn't sing btw) I would be put there.
So I had to memorize both parts of most songs u8
However, all I had to do was hear it once and had it memorized.
It took even my bestie a few tries and she was good at everything.
So that made me feel smart xD
Ooh we had a girl like that in my vocal jazz! She sang a lot of the tenor solos because there was only one other guy in the tenor section. :qlol: Our vocal jazz group was super small. I picked up both alto and soprano arrangements quite easily myself, but I don't think that's a big deal because soprano arrangement is usually the melody, and melody is super easy to pick up. Sometimes when I particularly disliked the alto arrangement, I'd willingly loan myself to the soprano section just so I didn't have to deal with the harmony arrangement.

Congrats, Kat x3

We had a girl that sang Soprano and I swear she could have been an opera singer.
I don't know what happened to her.

>XD
I imagined you placing a fake Zia in Alto 8u

I remember liking some parts and not others.
Like in certain songs, Tenor didn't get much interesting to sing.

Yeah, soprano and bass gets all the cool parts.

I tried out for bass once and I didn't stay there long.
Tenor was pretty much easiest.
I didn't have to force it.

My bestie could sing Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass.
But she was like a prodigy so xD

The one year I tried chorus we got to choose where we were
I chose alto because even then I knew I couldn't manage soprano
Tho really because this was a bunch of fourth and fifth graders it was more like right side left side

I really miss singing in choir.
I was in it most of my childhood.
I remember not being in it one year and the teacher kind of guilt tripped me.

Ex-friend had that problem with the middle/high school chorus teacher
Problem was, he played favorites for the solos and she wasn't one of them
And the one girl who could sing? She wasn't in chorus, but she's had professional concerts before. Yeah
