This.

The base of your Knuffel must leave a margin around all sides. It should not end right at the end of the image, but should also not leave an significant amount of space.

Look at space that is left above head and how much space there is on sides and bottom. Knuffel should be right in the middle, with proportional amount of space around it.

I don't think that I can make the base bigger, but I moved it around so It would be proportional up and down. Thanks :mccute:

i have a question and dont know were to post it so i will post it here =)

i read that the knuffels not must not gross out people. like that the brain lays next too it or something like that. but do those rules also for things like that the knuffel smokes? its a really rare example i know but im afraid that when i make a knuffel and its really awesome he or she will be rejected because of this.
does someone knows this answer?

Hello. My wild knuffel was rejected due to lack of evolution. Can someone please tell me which stages look similar? I don't know what else to draw. My previous knuffel was rejected due to the same reason and while adding new details to him I spoilt him :qcry: I like my new wild knuffel and don't want to spoil her too :qcry: Any ideas?

Stage 2: skirt, tights, wristband, tatoo, earrings

Stage 3: underskirt, ear piercing, one more wristband, claws, skirt and top change into a dress

Stage 4: sleeves, collar, gloves, bat ears

Stage 5: wings, boots, glasses, fangs.

Stages 2, 3, and 4 are really similar at first glance. In stage 3 I can only notice the dress change and in stage 4 just the ears and gloves.

I can't imagine a knuffel smoking, but I don't think it would be rejected because of it.

@Tilli:
You add things and other accessories to the Knuffel, but the basic look of the Knuffel itself doesn't change. There's no sense of evolution in most of the stages especially from Stage 1 to 4, merely dressing up, if you get what I mean.

Stage 4 and 5 are almost the same.
Only thing you added are those gold decorations on clothes, which I didn't even notice at first sight.
Window doesn't add anything to his evolution and honestly it doesn't look good either. Focus on making bigger changes around knuffel itself in final stage.

On a side note: You didn't include any light from moon on knuffel what makes him look like he's standing in front of a wall with painted window + white around moon? So is it day or night? Just looks bad...

Exactly. Besides the golden ornaments the stages are identical. The window is no part of the Knuffel and adds nothing to the evolution (or, in my personal opinion to the improvement) of the Knuffel.
Stage 2 and 3 also don't really have much of a significant change.
