Well, try the darkness area. It's at least 10% chance there. And maybe if you want to dig elsewhere, try later when your knuffel has more dig skill in that element.

So can we only use it if we have a knuffel that was bought with food points? :( Guess I gotta start saving up food points for a knuffel. I have one free one from awhile back and that's it.

That's right, only with the new knuffels that are available in Knufftropolis.
