In all my life I've read maybe 5 books. I'm 23 atm.

I'm usually checking out books at my local library,or books at my school library. I love reading but I don't read as much as I use to. Trying to get back into the habit.

It really depends on the book. If I really enjoy it I could get through it in a couple of days, or if I don't enjoy it... well I've been 'reading' some on my bookshelf for months now and I don't think I'll be finishing them any time soon...

I used to read a lot, like ten books a month, but I've slowed down in the past couple years due to actually having to do work to pass classes. Last year I read about three per month and this year so far I've slowed to two per! It's unbelievable.
But, on the other hand--this year I have made poor choices in books--i.e., very long ones whose pages number three or four books' worth but only count as one. For example, I am now reading It by Stephen King (1027 pages) and The Count of Monte Cristo (1276 pages). When I finish them both (barely halfway through either), I only will have read twelve books total this year, and I don't even expect to finish either one until the end of summer at best.
As interested as I am in both, I find myself balking at reading in my spare time, to the point where I maybe read 5-10 pages of either per fortnight (if I'm really on a roll). I feel like I have enough eyestrain as it is, from school, the computer, just not getting enough sleep... plus aging glasses. So it just doesn't seem like as enjoyable a pastime as it used to be.

I use to read all the time. I haven't been lately this past year. I just I've just been working at getting on my feet now that I'm out of high school.

I really hate when I feel like I'm too busy to read. I've been tending to a sick relative every few days (taking turns with other folks) since April, and now that the sick relative is home and healing, I have a bit more time to myself. It will be very nice to get home today and curl up with a book!

I have periods of times when I read at least a book a week, and times when I don't read for weeks. Currently, I'm of the former; I'm almost done with the book I'm currently on.

I love books a lot and I read as often as I can, though I sometimes don't have time which I really dislike. I haven't really counted them (actually I did, but I forgot xD), but I know that I have somewhere around 200-400 books.

I read a book a week depending on the size of the book. Some time's it takes me longer then that.

it depends on the genre/what's going on in my life. I tend to read a lot of YA novels and I chew through those usually in about 8-10 hours. longer books like "high" fantasy can take me about 3 days. but if i have a cold or am stressing about something? forget it. (also, right now I got tired of reading published things and have been consuming copious amounts of fanfic!
