Thanks!!

And that's so fair. I used to do that too, but now I end up writing them more like reports or updates haha. As a kid I got it into my head that I was basically writing to future anthropologists/historians, so even though no one reads my journal but me I always end up writing as if there's an "audience" x'D

Yeah, it took me some time to realize that the audience for my journal was future me, and it took me even longer to realize that there would be a lot future me wouldn't remember. I like focusing on capturing my feelings more than capturing what's going on. But, I need to explain some of what's going on because I'll forget more than I expect.

Yeah, mine's usually a place to vent or get through stuff, so I sometimes have to remind myself to journal the happy things too.

I ended up starting my bullet journal, which is like a planner/journal hybrid, to deal with memory issues. Its actually helped me go back and place events, but its just like chores and information so it doesn't really paint a full picture like regular journalism does.

also sorry, all-nighter knocked me out for a few hours

I'm so close to being 100% done with E-session 1. I've taken these classes and (thank God) I've been passing without them.

I'm glad you're getting through your classes and passing, Outline. It sounds stressful.

I use sticky memos for the things I need to remember. I journal to vent and process a lot of the time, but I also write about my daily tarot/oracle draws. The happy things I want to report are more likely to go on my blog.

For what it's worth, all of you are welcome to chat at my hangout anytime. Link's in my signature :mccute: It's the same handful of people everywhere on the site so you'll find that you have parallel conversations with the same people different places on the forums. I know when I first joined this site I was hesitant about where to chat, too. Gradually you'll feel more comfortable chatting elsewhere on the site.

So I actually failed a course this last session, and I have to take it again in the fall. I'm not excited about it but I think the A I made in the other class will keep me above the water when grades post.

I've been busy with family stuff this past week. I had off on the 4th and 5th, so we decided to keep the kids home all week rather than sending them to summer camp. It's somehow been both relaxing and exhausting.

I'm sorry to hear you have to retake a course Outline. That sounds disappointing.

It was disappointing considering I failed a class by two points. :(
