Kingdom of Knuffel

Lior family house:


The Liors are the most noble family among Light Knuffel. The head of the family, Lady Aegle (whose husband passed after being heavily wounded in the great war against Wuffel), is kind and beautiful like an elfin:


She has three children:


The eldest child and the only son in the family, young Lord Luke, has recently married to a charming Knuffel, who has some Fire mixed in her blood:


Young Lady Valentine, despite being neither pure-blooded, nor noble by birth, is said to have a most pure heart and a noble soul, altogether with a beautiful appearance and refined manners.

Sunlight family house:


The Sunlights are a rich and noble family, second only to the Liors among the Light Knuffel. The head of the family is Lady Aegle's fraternal twin brother, Lord Jules:


Lord Jules married a Light Knuffel from a simpler and poorer Shiners family, who has also a small mixture of Air in her blood; but it definitely was a marriage for love (and it would be impossible otherwise for a Light Knuffel, even a High Lord).


The happy couple has two beautiful daughters:


The spacious Sunlight manor is also home to the unmarried younger brother of Lady Aegle and Lord Jules, Lord Zohar:


Lord Zohar has a creative personality and prefers devoting himself to fine arts rather than making a family.

Shiner family house:


The Shiners, being one of the newer Light Knuffel families, lead a modest life, but they are well known and respected in the Kingdom. The late head of the family became a national hero in the great war against Wuffel. His widow is the new head of the family:


Mrs. Sunny Shiner is from the Far Eastern part of the Kingdom, and she likes wearing traditional Eastern clothes best. She has two sons:


The eldest one, Oran, married early. His young wife and baby boy live together with Mrs. Sunny and Ivar:


Claire is a distant relative of the Sunlights. Despite coming from a wealthy family, she never slacks at digging and helps her husband and mother-in-law to provide for the family. Manar is growing as a quiet and serious boy.

Light family house (literally, a lighthouse):


The Lights' family name is actually not a real family name. It is the family name that the lighthouse watcher takes temporarily for the time of their service (which usually lasts till his very old age when he retires). The watcher's wife and children (if any; the watcher often is a solitude-lover) also adopt it until his retirement. The simplicity and the magnitude of this fictional surname also show the importance of this position for all the Light Knuffel (and actually for the whole Kingdom). It is never taken by the noblest or richest one, but by the most capable Light Knuffel.

The current Lights are the watcher himself, Mr. Anwar (a rather young Knuffel), his wife Thea, and their little kids:

Wind family house:


The head of the Winds family is the glorious general Midsummer Wind, whose Winged Squadron of united Air and Light Knuffel forces ensured the victory in the great war against Wuffel.


The General is happily married to Mrs. Aelia Wind, who is said to be the sweetest and kindest Dame among Knuffel aside from the Light Knuffel ladies:


The couple gave birth to three children:


The General's son, Ishamael, got married at a very early age, but his beloved wife (an Air Knuffel from the Flyers family) has passed away recently, leaving him a widower with four kids:


The General deeply cares about his grandchildren. Mrs. Wind and the General, along with their daughters, make sure the little ones' childhood is unclouded.

Flyer family house:


The Flyers family invented the first zeppelin, letting wingless Knuffel to take into the sky and travel faster. The head of the family himself didn't contribute much to it though. Niyol Flyer, a young Knuffel, lost his parents, his elder sister (who was married off to the Winds family), and his beloved wife in the tragic events of the great war against Wuffel. He is still mourning over his losses deeply.


The widower has two little children:


The inventor of the zeppelin and it's first pilot is Niyol's younger brother, Abel:


Abel has married after the war, and his young wife is also his assistant and second pilot:


Noelani loves her nephews tenderly and spends whatever little spare time she has aside of her husband's project with the children.
