I have only lived on this island for about 2 almost 3 years now. I like it more then the cities but still part of me misses it. But I think I like being a chicken farmer more XD my chickens (all hens) are spoiled rotten

we are lucky on our island, we have everything so even in the bad winter (which its been snowing here a lot past few days) we have everything so we can live here all year round. But its not to hard going to the main land either, sure its a bit expensive but we can also just do a long 5 hour drive to get there too. Not that gas is any cheaper than taking the ferry but still lol

XD aw poor thing lol ours are like that too, but our fence they can't get through at all x3 so they can't run off and get eaten lol but I do have two special babies :] I hold them and give them a bath when super dirty x3 they are very well behaved. they also happen to be inside more then outside XD unlike the rest. (we have 11 not counting these two)

Those baby chickens are so strange! They don't look like chickens at all to me.
How did you color them btw?

My parents have chickens too.
Whenever I go visit I bring so many eggs


Oh, 5 hours, then your island is not so close to the coastline.
I live by the sea, the (very small) island in our region is less than one hour away by boat.

x3 they are slikie chickens lol and I use food coloring.

Ah by Ferry its only like an hour to get to the mainland, but driving takes so much longer cuz its going around almost the whole island to get the bridge (our house in the in middle of the island pretty much) so driving so longer then if we just take the ferry, but the ferry prices are so high its almost not worth it. We do have a small town on the island though so we don't really 'need' to go off island, but if we really had to we can :]

yeah x3 large island, I was shocked by its size too when I saw it lol

and yeah x3 they are so soft and fluffy. honestly, the best chickens to own in my opinion. lol

It was dyed purple, I think 8u
I named it Fred.

Aw XD cute name. and yeah Roosters are so loud lol reason we try not get any lol if we end up with one we sell it XD or give it away.

Omg you have the fluffy kind of chickens.

I'm impressed that they still still enough to dye them and have the color be that contained.

In some strange scenario where I needed to dye my cats, there would just be color everywhere.
