Also.... quick question.... is the time limit for newly released knuffel always 1 year?
I'm not sure how I missed that, but... do we always get a new generation of a particular kind of elemental knuffel the same month every year?

I need to make myself a calendar, if so...

A new knuffel is released whenever a year passes OR all the knuffel of that type are sold.
Whatever happens first.

If you check Knufftropolis, you'll see this kind of info before buying:

Type: Air Knuffel Generation 22
Limited, available: 265

Adoption fee: 1900

If 265 are sold before its expire date (in this case, December 22) then it will be replaced by a new one.
If not, then it will be replaced on December 22.

Well, but will it actually be replaced early, or will there just not be a non-trial elemental knuffel of that type available until a year has placed?

I understand it would. They used to have no deadline, and they were replaced when they sold out.
But I guess we would need to find the announcement (about 6-7 years ago I think) to make sure.
