gift giving events are always funny because obviously most people gift the bare minimum haha of course i'd rather give away something small if i'm not sure i'll get something better in return! there's another game i used to play a while ago, howrse, they made a similar event in december and i remember it was just turnips going around (let's say it's the equivalent of 50FP) it turned out to be a massive exchange of turnips no one dared to give away more than that
but there also aren't a lot of active users on there anymore. what i really like about dappervolk is that it's still very active since it's pretty new. sadly these sites aren't very popular anymore, kids today play app games on their phones! it feels like the same generation that grew up with online browsing games is still the one playing today even though most sites are dead

i also noticed that many people stopped playing during the teenage years and came back later! i used to play on howrse, flight rising, kofk, ecc.. in 2013/2014, stopped for a while, and i came back a couple of years ago. i've seen lots of people come back after years, i wonder why that happens. nostalgia? not being overwhelmed by highschool anymore?
