we can get dumplings in Japanese/Chinese restaurants but nothing like that, storebought etc

Haha I can imagine, potato and dough AND cheese? carb overload!

I have the same problem with potato chips, they're my addiction. I always eat the 'light' version of paprika chips, but even then I know its far from a healthy snack c':

Perogies are so nice, it's also common in Russia, I have them sometimes. Usually with simple potato filling and sour cream :)

Paprika Chips are also very common here :o
