Oh yeah, I've been in that situation before when I used to work in a hotel - as soon as the busy season is over there's not enough shifts for everyone =/
Sent an application off two days ago that I'm really hoping will at least get me an interview - I spent hours on it!
It's a really cool job (helping with marketing for the group of theatres in my city) and the pay is way better than what I currently get, so I might actually be able to save/ afford to go on holiday xP

Thanks :3
I haven't heard anything back yet, and I'm pretty sure the ad said that interviews were being held on Tuesday, so it's not looking optimistic rn - but I'm gonna try calling on Monday to see what's going on, since I've not got a rejection email either xP

It is a good idea to call on Monday. I am going to do something similar that day too if I don't get the important e-mail. I even looked in my spam folder.

It's so annoying when jobs don't get back to you - it's like, I put a ton of effort into my application, the least you could do would be to send me an email confirming you'd got it & then one saying whether or not it was successful xP

Oh yeah! I texted and the woman said she forgot. Today, I went to the place where I am aiming to work, and she took the time and asked me which department I liked. Everything was so interesting, and I didn't which one I liked more! She said the worst case scenario is me having to wait two weeks, and she also said she was going to try getting me a job there.

I work for a real estate company, I make sure the files are done correctly and are complete. I spend a lot of time reading contracts and disclosures. I actually like my job quite a bit and I love the company I work for.

@Boris_Boris: That's great! c:
I've tried calling twice now, but was told both times that the people I needed to speak to weren't in - pretty sure that I've not got an interview at this point :c
Still think I'll try ringing again to get feedback on my application though P:
@bombus: That's really nice, I'm happy for you c:
It's a very rare thing among the people I know to like your job xP

I'm currently a med student, so the most likely to a job I have are my practics.
My dream job is to be a surgeon.
