I don't think I would? Maybe I'd keep the silver crown that is on my tooth currently because it would be cool to have a silver tooth on display lol

Eh, I'd let it go. Also, one of my friend's parents got a tooth removed recently and wanted to keep it, but they wouldn't give it to him because apparently doing so would be "improper disposal of medical waste."
Which seems a little shady to me...as soon as a piece of my body is out of me, I no longer have any say over it? Just weird to think about.
...I may have a tiny pile of perfect shed cat claw casings sitting on the bookshelf right beside my cats' scratching post, though. They're just really super cool to look at, especially when they come off without splitting.

I kept all of my daughter's baby teeth.
As for the guy who kept his amputated leg: there are some people who believe that they should be buried with all of their parts when they die, so that they will be whole in the afterlife. They'll keep amputated limbs, or have them stored, so that they can be "all there" when the time comes.

Yeah I think a lot of this depends on the culture you were raised in. I know a lot of people who keep all their 'parts' and then have some special method of disposing of them so that nothing can be used against them. Or they'll use them in protection amulets or whatever.

I guess that really depends on what it is. lol. Like if I had a limb cut off then I'd keep the bones. But not the flesh. That's a little gross. Flesh rots.
