Hi there! Welcome to kofk :D
I earn my fp mostly from my knuffels. As you might have seen (Thanks for the feeds <3) i got 100+ of them... so yeah it also takes alot of effort... XD
But back to my point being, for every 10th level a knuffel reaches, it gives you 1000 fp. So if a knuffel reaches level 20 you already earned your expenses back :3
And i do dig now and then, and i sell the materials i find to other users on the marketplace.
I would also like to advice you to go to knuffel feeding threads. Alot of people (like me) share their knuffel earnings with people that help them :3

I'll try not to get too overwhelmed, and check out that area of the forums.
So far I'm mostly sticking to here and to the Spam area, since I think it would be hard to mess up too badly in there. >.<

Are you talking about there icons? 
If you are, you just have to type the icon 'code'
or the image url (including the bracket thinggies)

no, I think that was the last of the ones that I'd written in to ask.
(I do have another new question though! When some of the threads have the little "Popular! #/#" mark after them, what is it that makes the popular, and what does the ratio at the end signify?)

Pretty easy ... just click on the knuffel of your choice and then click on your knuffels name ... it should be clickable ... then change it as you want and save.
... it will cost 50 fp to change a name

Is there a limit to how often I can change the name? (And does it go up by 50fp each time, or is it always 50 fp?)

I think there is no limit in changing your Knuffel's name :)
and it would always charge you 50fps every time you want to change their names.
