I hear about OC's but I've never really created one for art. I have created characters for fanfiction stories. and Originals.

I've a bunch but only 4 or 5 actually play big roles or are actually so far developed that they are full fledged characters. I'm a bit more into making my characters realistic with flaws etc, something I didn't tend to do. When I was younger I would just change their personality to suit the story, but thankfully I've learned to stop doing that !

Just two. They're major MarySues though so nobody knows about them but me. lol

For a moment... I would say two... but that's not true ^^ they are three ^^'
But their character profiles are still in work... and I think I've to make an art of them in the next time >A<'

It sounds like if you just like to design characters but have no intention of using them, that you could maybe try making adoptables to sell or trade?

I have a few, but normally I like to make sure I have all of their 'character' before deciding if their 'complete'. For example I need to know what they look like - their history - their abilities etc otherwise it feels like an incomplete character to me.

I think, if I add them up, I have... 5 complete OC's.

is it okay to bring up this again?
i've got, like 50 something ocs, but over the course of 10 years, so... that's about 5 new ocs per year. i'm a pretty slow burner.

i've tried doing the art to oc method but that's weirdly difficult for me as opposed to just doing personality first and seeing where the cards fall.

probably upwards of 200. i write novels, so i have a lot of OC's. some i've drawn, others i haven't. some i draw a lot.

(i also just really like creating characters, tbh)
