Looks like, between the heat wave and the thunder storms, the birthday camping trip we were planning for my MIL is going to get rained out. :mcsad:
Instead, I think we're going to go to the National Portrait Gallery (her request), then make tacos and eat angel food cake with whipped cream and strawberries.
Which will be fun, but I'm bummed we're missing out on Shenandoah AGAIN. I swear, EVERY SINGLE TIME we plan a camping trip there, we get rained out. :mcmeh: It's happened half a dozen times now. Damn you, weather!!!
