Once every year the residents of the Kingdom Of Knuffel experience a rare and exciting phenomenon. On the night of the 24th of December the planet on which our beloved Kingdom can be found is placed in exact position between the huge sun and the moon. The planet throws a shadow on the moon, causing it to look like a giant doughnut in the sky seen from the Kingdom. In addition to that the constellation of the bunny is clearly visible on that very night, which results in the visual effect of a bunny jumping over the doughnut-like moon.
On the 24th all of the residents of the Kingdom gather under the clear sky to watch the exciting event.

For this special celebration the kingdom offers the Doughnight Calendar: A Calendar to count down till Doughnight and gather special event items!
Starting
December 1st you can visit the Doughnight Calendar and open a window of the calendar each day. The 1st window can be opened on December 1st, the 2nd on December 2nd and so on. The windows open according to KOfK Server Time.
You can open the same window multiple times to get more than one of the same item. If you get easily confused with different time zones and what windows you already opened, you can always check the server time zone on the right side of the page. The date shown always equals the newest window that can be opened. Or you can keep track of your opened window the old-fashioned way by writing a list.
The Calendar will stay open a few days after the 24th, so those of you busy with Christmas celebrations will be able to catch up afterwards.
How does it work?
In order to open a window you need a key. One key each per window.
How to get keys?
You can create keys from key fragments. You need 10 key fragments to create 1 key.
There are various different ways to get key fragments:

⇒ You can claim one key fragment on the
Doughnight Calendar page each day
⇒ You can get key fragments for posting in our forums. Each posts gives you 1 key fragment, except for the Spam and the Word Game forum, where you cannot get any key fragments.
⇒ You can dig up key fragments with your Knuffel on
Candy Island!
⇒ You can collect key fragments through random pop ups appearing all over the site. However, since only 10 key fragments are needed each day, these pop ups are a bit rarer than during other events.
⇒ You can buy key fragments, as well as completed keys from other users, as they are tradable.
⇒ You can also obtaining the Winter '24 Pet from the
Living Empire and putting it in one of your Knuffel's room. The pet gives you 5 key fragments every 24 hours. Enter the room editing mode to see whether a new key is available, shown by the exclamation mark above the pet's head.
