Yeah Pratchett can take some time I used to read him during my 2 months holidays while I was still in school... many years ago :mcsweat:

I am sorry but that is quite hilarious... you really can't judge book by its "cover"
However that sound like a fun for an adult reader.

I get my hands on " witches of kyiv" so Lovecraft will have to wait again :mcmeh:

It is hilarious indeed!

Tbh I'm not really worried. I also read plenty of inappropiate books at early ages, and I did not turn out that bad xD
This is still about mistery and investigations, so my son liked them and did not mention anything about those behaviours. He probably did not give a lot of thought to any of them.
But the teens are not depicted in the sugarcoated ways of children books - it's clear they are intended for readers about 16 years old or so, who may relate to the characters.

But it's ironical because not long ago I read the first book of the Harry Potter series to check it out for him, and I said "no, let's wait a year or so before he reads this".
And then I don't check these books xD

Finally finished that book I mentioned earlier. It was short, but life got in the middle and I could not finish it faster.
And in the meantime my son read the whole collection of 5 books.
I just warned him I want no spoilers XD

Not sure what I'll be reading next...

None at all. :mcsweat:
Webtoons have absorbed me. I spent hours and hours every day reading them.
I feel like Alice, falling into the rabbit hole.
