package arrived.. I am SOO glad I was awake and waiting for them because:

I was suppose to sign for it, but because the dude just left it at my door and walked away, not even a KNOCK to let me know an expensive and hard to get gaming system was being left outside..

They were suppose to knock so I could SIGN FOR IT! D:<

They are soooo lucky I was awake and waiting for this.. and I barely got any sleep other than the little nap i took last night (passed out while chatting with moi =w= sorry moi)

So yea.. every time I heard a truck pull in, i was up and running to the living room to see if it was UPS. So when that pretty brown truck with yellow letters pulled in, I was at my door, watching out the peephole (tendons made that old elastic tearing sound too.. friggen hurts QnQ) just puts it in the ground and walks away..

Oh! I had ordered some water from amazon... they had that sitting on TOP the expensive yet elusive package. that box of water was heavy! so happy my system wasn't harmed.. yay for double packaging!


Playstation packaged it in a brown box with nothing on it that let anyone know that it came from them. ovo I liked that.

While my PS5 does its software update.. ima go take a nap... x-x

ohh you got a new gamestation thing? what is it? a PS what? xD i don't know much about those game stations.

ugh, i'm in no mood to do anything today.....8u and my mom had a mini meltdown today over her meds. my dad was supposed to only pick up ONE month's worth of meds since she's still testing out the new blood pressure meds. instead, he picks up THREE MONTHS of it. 8u and now it can't be returned....

It's hard to get because there's a shortage in certain parts.. o3o
There was a few karen stories centered around these consoles..

My favorite:
Dude snags PS5. It gets delivered to the wrong address. Neighbors don't look at it, give it to proper owner and then asks, "What'd ya get?"

Dude: A PS5.
Neighbor Man: Oh.. I wanted to get one of those for my son...
Dude: Yea. I got lucky with this.
Neighbor Man: Hey, how bout I pay you for that and you can order another one? I really want to get one for my son for xmas.
Dude: Sorry man. They're far too hard to get, I really got lucky with this one.
Neighbor Man: I see..

Then at some point the wife of the neighbor got involved.. and she harasses the dude to give her the ps5 for her kid... even to the point of posting on the neighborhood facebook page and has other people harass him over it. Stuff like "Your too old for video games" "its chrismas, give it to the kid, you can get another one some other time." "Your ruining christmas for my son!"

o3o it was a crazy story. There was a similar one out there.. the lady involved religion and how its against gods laws for adults to act like kids there for the guy had to relinquish his video games to her for her kids (grandkids?) or something like that. Not sure if that one was a PS5 story or not...

The other one that was a PS5 story.
Person is well off, so they like to do something nice on the holidays. They get toys for children who aren't well off. A family member (aunt or cousin) calls and cries about how she was recently divorced and couldn't afford any presents for her kid for xmas. She asked if this person could get a PS5 for the kid.

Turns out, that was a lie. She got a crap ton of money in the divorce and spent it ALL on herself (mainly on a ridiculously expensive new car) instead of buying anything for her kid. Person knew about the car, called her out on her BS.. told her to go sell that car and get something cheaper and then get the kid a PS5 herself. She cried about how person was ruining xmas for the kid and yada yada.., forget if the kid got a ps5 or not .. o3o

Other than the meds, how you guys doing?

Yeah so now she has like 4-6 boxes of meds. And she still doesn’t know if the meds will give her more problems or not since she’s so sensitive to side effects.
