Atari is ancient history!
They made great games for my old ZX spectrum... good times... but that was the 80s!
Back in that time my father got us some Nintendo portable games (Game & Watch was the name, it was not a console, each thingy was only a game) and they were so cool. My brother and I have been Nintendo fans ever since.
But they were so hard to get.
In that time the Famicom/NES was a hit in Japan, and here still many people thought it was too expensive for a "chidren's game". A friend of mine got it, we played a lot.
We later got the SNES. Those were the 90s.
Nintendo and Sega ate the whole pie back then. You either wanted the SNES or the Mega Drive, but for sure you wanted one.
I still have the SNES and some Game Boys. Tried to play with my son but he's a bit too young to likes the games I played in my teens.
I then moved on to computer games.
But my brother still bought an N64 and a Game Cube. Now he bought a Switch for his son.
Ahhh, I'm feeling so old
Sega develops games indeed, but left the consoles business 20 years ago!
What was the last one called, Dreamcast? The one that they built to compete with the first Playstations and failed miserably.
Come to think of it, Atari still has been developing games AND even dared to release a console a few years ago, Atari Box.
Never saw one to be honest, I suppose it was not very popular.
