I'm going for 20 books this year after finally settling back into a bit more frequent reading at the end of last year but didn't want to put my goal too high right away. Since I have long periods of not reading

Currently listening to a Dutch book series (which is okayish so far not sure if I'll listen to 2 and 3 maybe I will )

As he has written 50+ books I think it's okay that there are some less fabulous ones. I've seen a rating where Shining, It, Green Mile and the Tower Series were among the top 10. I thought that a book was pretty interesing (forgot the name), but on that list it was ranked 42 or something. Same goes for my favourite written by him, ranked in the 40ies, too.
Oh, Carrie was among the top 10, too, but I honestly thought it was extremely boring. I like the movies though.
So far I am 50 pages into It and it seems nice.

The Green Mile is actually the one that I would be willing to give him one more chance on! I saw the movie years ago, and while I thought it was good, I'm also very squeamish about what I watch, and it was too much for me.

I've never heard of books being sold with only a few chapters each. That's so weird, but I guess they would be easier to carry around to read.

I don't think I'll read the next book in the series I'm reading right away. This book is good, but it isn't as good as the second book (Age of Fire Series by E.E. Knight). I might not read the books I had planned for this year. I guess I'll find out when I get there.

I saw The Green Mile being sold at the library in multiple thin books form years ago. I don't think they had them all though, or at least I didn't see them all.

Ooh. I feel like I knew, but forgot because that sounds like something I learned when I read classics for school.

Finished my book..I was determined to finish it tonight and surprisingly didn't take as long as I thought it would.

Got an email on a book I pre-ordered on Amazon and the release date for it got changed again. It went from may, to October, and now it's in December. If only I wasn't waiting for the paperback edition. I wouldn't mind buying the hardcover, but I own the first two books in paperback and they weren't the cheap paperbacks either. (Except I got them both half off surprisingly) I really want to know the conclusion of the story, but got to have patience.
