I hope it goes away. Seasonal depression is a big thing around here and the stress and pressure to be happy around the holidays makes it worse.

Real talk for a moment: Can we Go back to that month that Pokemon Go was released. Everyone was so happy and the only people down my throat were old men at work who complained about a cell phone app kids were playing. Can we have that? Please.

I understand that. Honestly wish we could skip getting together with family for a year. It stresses so many people out. Two Holidays less than a month apart is not helpful.
This time change has me wanting to get to bed at 6! That's even earlier than what time I would normally feel the need to go to bed. I went to the store at like 6 yesterday and was thinking how crazy it was for so many people to be out that late! (I wanted to make a crock pot soup today which is why I went) AND THEN I REMEMBERED I was the crazy one thinking it was so late.

I can understand that. It gets dark way to early now. I hate seeing the sun set at 4:30.
To help combat the awful feelings I tend to get at this time of the year, I decided to go back to writing. It helps take my mind off of it a little.

Oh. I started writing again for nanowrimo. I used to write all the time and nanowrimo is like the only excuse I got. It's actually been helping me get my mind off my terrible cough that's been making me have a hard time to sleep. (I've been taking cold medicine that supposed to stop the cough along with lots of cough drops and nothing works) I am using Google docs this year since Ms word just deleted itself off my laptop a few years ago, but it's great because I can pull it up on my phone and write away. So now when I go to bed at 7:30-8:00 I'll pull it up, start writing until sleep takes me away.
I hope your writing is helping you! What are you writing about?

Using google docs is a great idea! I should have done that, then I wouldn't have to be chained to my computer and write whenever my mother in law drives me nuts. That also might help me share it with my friend. She likes to read what I'm writing and I like the confidence boost because I'm always so shy about my stories.
I went with an idea I recently started putting together. Its about a girl being recently turned into an immortal vampire and having to abandon her old life. She gets basically adopted by two other vampires that have lived already for hundreds of years.

You could copy/paste it into a google doc. I'm actually too embarrassed to share my story tbh. I'm trying to write with romance being the main point, then the horror/magic thing second. I am writing inconsistently too so I might say one thing, then change it later. If I actually get around to liking this story a lot I might edit/rewrite it to be consistent.
I also fell asleep while writing a sentence last night. It was a bunch of gibberish. No clue what I was trying to write.
That sounds like my cup of tea. I love it when characters get adopted by others. Outcasts stories, underdogs, type of deals.

That's probably what I will do.
I feel that. I used to actually hand write stories when I was in high school a long time ago and one day a kid took my journal while I was in the bathroom and read some of them. I was mortified and wanted the ground to open up and swallow me.

Oh god, that reminds me of when my librarian posted my story up for anyone to read in high school. I think I gave her permission but when I think back to it, ugh, I remember being influenced in outfits from fire emblem and some other games. Oh god, just remembering how detailed I went into the awful outfits. I cringe so hard. God I was so proud of it though. Don't know how far I got into writing that, but I remember being dang proud of it.

I would be way too embarrassed if my local library showed it off. That kid read my stories twice, but at least he didn’t share it with everyone. I live fire emblem! I can understand why you would like the outfits for some characters.

Definitely wish I didn't though! That kid sure was nice not to mention anything. I did get a few comments on how nice my story was but I quickly took it down because I got too embarrassed.
Yess. I love the old school fire emblem character designs so much.
