Oh dragon bios sounds like a fun contest! Do you have some ideas about what you'd want in there or are you planning to just give people the dragons to look at and then let them surprise you?
Right, jacob, I remember that thread... Maybe I should go take a look how far it was until the next chapter would be funded :P But I think part of the issue might be that the chapters get more and more expensive, so it's less realistic to just clear one in one go. To me, that lowers the incentive to invest in it, since I don't know how long it would take until enough is put together to actually have a new chapter come out.

I think the first poem I ever wrote (in elementary school, at least it's the first I remember writing) was about a dragon :P Actually, even a picture of a dragon, I think I had painted the picture in school? I think I did the poem just because I wanted to, I think I was only supposed to draw the picture.
Hahaha, all that was so long ago, my memory is all fuzzy. I still remember pieces of the poem though! Like, two lines maybe ;)

Could I be writing fanfic or dragon bios for you for some of these things I have on hold? Get through them a little faster and give you something you might actually like?
Maybe do up a batch of a dozen or so, assume you'd like at least a third of them, and let you value them?

@jacobgrey Ah damn  I assumed you'd finished the fic and never actually went and checked. I thought if I wasn't seeing it around it must have been finished. Like Chrizine said though, the chapters getting more expensive as they go along is a disincentive unless two or three users can put in that much food together and know that the other(s) will be pooling in; so it'd be like pooling at the same time. So that might be why. I remember being excited about the fic even though I couldn't contribute, and others too.
I think I'll start the Kofk lore fanfiction thread and just hope for the best, even though things are slow in the site in general now, not just in terms of the art and writing scenes. I know this isn't the best time to begin something in which the only thing I'm hoping for is participation but it's not like there's going to be a better time necessarily. And I'm not going to have donations of food, because it won't be just me writing (hopefully) or even if I am, I'm hoping for others to collaborate in prompting, plotting etc. to the extent that I can't take most of the credit and therefore donations. I thought about whether there could be a raffle, where the donations are pooled and only participants enter, but I'd be getting ahead of myself thinking about stuff like that lol. I don't even know whether there's going to be participation.
@Doki Dragon bios is fun! I'm sure I don't have to know anything about Flight Rising to write about them, right? No canon as such to consider? Totally out of my own head? It's a great idea, especially as you'll be using the pieces you like for your dragon bios of the site itself, so you're not just a fic giftee. While that's awesome in itself, the entries will be useful beyond that!
