Thanks Julez :3

where did you get it from? skillshare/coursera/eduonix/etc?
Thanks! I know, it's so crazy. It's actually from this one guy that does his own training courses. I've been following him for a few years and he just keeps making SO MUCH money. I figure at the very least, if I don't make millions from the results I get from the course, I can always apply to teach with him instead once I've done the course myself :D
silver lining thinking haha XD
Although seriously, I hope it works XD

His name is Chandler Bolt.
Although as it turns out, my mentor for the duration of the course is not Bolt himself, but one of his successful authors. I'm actually enjoying that aspect the most so far, I think. This guy really knows what he's talking about and doesn't beat around the bush. He took my plan that I had going in and said, look, you can do it that way, but if you do it THIS way you're going to make more money and make it quicker. And then when we had our second call he basically kicked my butt and told me to get on with it, and set me a deadline for some work :D I actually need that haha.
I'm getting an accountability buddy too. This is someone who I call every week to make sure we're both still working through the course. Which, yes, I also need XD

That sounds like a very well organized course! I hope it makes a difference for you. Is it helping with works you already have put out or does it only apply to new projects going forward?

That sounds amzing and worth the money, jacob!

Yes, too busy ._. I didn't count all the books I've read for my papers.. Countless articles.

2019.. Yea I also thought about that. I think I might read the books I was longing to read all this time, like Percy Jackson, The Perks of being a Wallflower, Sherlock Holmes.. :)

I need something to encourage me to stretch, but not something that will be overwhelming and will keep me from even trying. I'm having trouble figuring out where that balance is, so I thought maybe I should try monthly challenges. That way I can see at the end of each month how it worked, and adjust the next month's challenge accordingly.

really???!!! I was just thinking about seasonal challenges! mainly because I want to try reading with a list of specific books and making one for the whole year wouldn't work for me at all. so I thought of a list for 2-3 months, that I would choose books from. then the next list could include some unread books from the previous months.

I'll still have a number-based reading challenge but it will depend on how many books I read this year. it'll just be something for comparison. speaking of which, goodreads is already offering me to look at my "2018 year in books" but I don't want to spoil the fun in case I finish more by the end of the year. and I'm likely to finish 2.
