You've found me! I started in Nature, but since Ice eyes go with almost everything, I changed flights a few weeks/months after joining. Oceannist (I don't know if you remember her) and I tend to have a thing where she leans towards water elements and I towards nature. It's a running theme.

Aye, same. I do my dailies, and I used to Coli-grind and hit the Fairgrounds a lot, but it ate up too much of my free time. In the end, I still do it occasionally, but not half as often anymore. I made a lot of money watching things while playing ShockSwitch --went through the whole Night Vale series up to the 100th episode that way, aha.

Congrats on your PC! Is that your favorite derg breed, then? My lair's pretty much crammed with Imps and Coatls, if you've seen it, aha. I do have friends who swap and share dergs with me, though; everyone feels the whole "my lair is too small, but so many pretty dergs", pfft. If you see any that you like after (Tangerine), I wouldn't mind giving you a few. I tend to breed color match dergs for aesthetic reasons.

I've always been more of a doodler than an artist with a consistent style. The only types I draw regularly are my chibis and my...other chibis. Just easier to flesh out the concept that way.

I did do a little comic art of my and Ocean's OCs (they were for a DA group RP, but we both ended up making different AUs for them). Dunno if I showed it here before. ( x )

Aye, I've seen all those too. Of the more recent Disney films (and I use the term "recent" loosely), I like Zootopia and Tangled. I frickin' love Nick and Judy --got some limited wristbands of them when I accompanied a friend and her kid to a Disney store promotion some years back, and said friend also bought me a Finnick tsumtsum. They're still sitting on my shelf, waiting for me to decorate the display case I'mma put them in. Seriously mad love for Judy though. Such a great character.

Brave didn't connect as well with me since I wasn't attached to the characters, and while I enjoyed Moana and Frozen, I'm indifferent to their protagonists as well. I'm pretty fickle though, but overall, they were still enjoyable.

What did you like best about Brave and Moana? And any opinions on what you'd like to see next from Disney?

Aha, thanks. My characters (the deer and fairy-looking ones) are going to get outfit revamps. They're going to end up with three different forms total, so that'll be fun to do when I get around to it.

I connected with Merida because my mom and I had a relationship like Merida and her mom and now my mom and I are really close.

I can't connect with Frozen. My little sister and I don't get along especially if we're together too long and half the time I want to ring her neck.

I'm not sure what I want from the next Disney movie. I love shows with independent heroines, but my small, very small inner girl likes to pair up characters at times. I also like stories where I can relate to the lead or the story itself.

Aha, I get that. I don't usually think about my parent's relationship with me in comparison to movies and shows, but my brother and I have a relationship like Dipper and Mabel from Gravity Falls (with me being Dipper), while our personality-types more closely resemble Wirt and Greg from Over the Garden Wall (with me being Wirt).

Aye, the Frozen characters don't leave much of an impression with me. I might have to rewatch it.

Hmm... Not sure what I'd want to see next from Disney myself. Maybe more of Zootopia's brand of humor. A single mother and son story might also be interesting for a change of pace. Big Hero 6 had something close to that, but it wasn't really looked into.

Exactly. My mom wants to see it because she hasn't, but other than that I don't care if we get it or not. I know my daughter doesn't care for it. Though she does like Sleeping Beauty when the fairies fight over the dress color and Cinderella when the mice sing. XD

You guys can always rent it. Aha, nice. As a kid, my brother was all about the Jungle Book --he'd watch it so often, it would put me off the movie. I watched a lot of Sound of Music as a kid, oddly enough. Otherwise, I guess it was Land Before Time and American Tail.

How old's your daughter? My niece was pretty big on Frozen for a while, but now she's moved on to Moana.

Disney kills moms way too often. A mother-son dynamic without the usual mother stereotype would be fun to see, I think. Like one where the conflict isn't about a misunderstanding between parent and child, but one where the two have a good relationship and team up together to resolve on conflict or another.

Ah, I get that. I mean, Cali isn't usually bad when it comes to weather (the heat is killer right now, but most of the year is nice). When winter hits though, we bundle up like everyone else.
