I'm sorry I can't offer much intelligent conversations.
I'm not good at that stuff.
But I went to the store a couple days ago, and I noticed there was a man in a turban.
I'm pretty sure he was a Sikh, because that's what I saw when I learned what a Sikh was.
And I remembered how a Sikh was attacked not long ago, because he was a "Muslim".
There was also a non-white man attacked for being Muslim, and he was a CHRISTIAN.
I can't stand the fucking ignorance in this country.
Anyways, I was worried someone would bother him, but no one cared.
Everyone was just doing their own thing.
And I saw him when we were leaving, and he was smiling.
He was just watching people shop and there were a lot of kids.
He reminded me of a grandpa, just watching his grandkinds.
He didn't look threatening or dangerous at all.
That's what pisses me off about people in this country.
Unless you have met someone, or have proof they're not good, you don't do or say shit >__>
And even if people have done bad things in the past, that doesn't make them bad people.
My parents did bad, stupid shit, and to think someone would piss on them just because of that - makes me angry.
Everyone does stupid or bad things, but that doesn't always make them bad people.
Here's another example:
There was an elderly woman who lived across from us.
She was always angry and yelling.
Well, she had a plum tree that was in bloom, so me and my friend were picking blossoms.
The woman opened the door and looked at us, and I was like "Oh, shit..."
And she said "You girls be careful! There's bees around there :3" and went back inside.
I assumed she was mean and angry, but she wasn't.
I don't like Trump, no matter what someone says about him.
But this guy was wearing a hat that said "Make America Great Again", and he wasn't doing anything.
These anti-Trump people were yelling at him, saying he had to take it off because he was racist/sexist/etc.
I don't like Trump or the hat, but he wasn't doing anything.
He was just wearing a HAT.
You're the idiot if you harass him and jerk the hat off of his head.
Why? Because you make yourself and people like you look like closed-minded assholes.
If he was causing trouble, then I'd understand the aggression.
But to my knowledge, he was minding his own business.
If he did that to them, they'd be pissed and say "FREEDOM OF SPEECH!"
I don't care what people do, think or feel - as long as they're not hurting anyone or anything.
As mentioned above, you don't have to like everything.
But don't do something to others, you'd consider wrong if it was done to you.
