But yes Inuyasha was the first real anime that I started watching.

pokemon was the first anime I watched from before I was 4 then digimon
I watched inuyasha when I was 6
I found out it was called anime when I was in middle school and
read the manga inuyasha and pokemon special after I found out about manga
I saw the ending of inuyasha after 5 years

This is EXACTLY how I found out/ got into Inuyasha. Pokemon was my first anime, technically, but I kind of don't think of it as an anime haha. Inuyasha was my second anime and really introduced me to Japanese media.

Nah I'm too old for that, the first was either Maya the Bee, Wicky or Heidi.
The first unusual one (distinguishable from normal toons) was Kimba and the first I knew to be Japanese was some bad Scifi Movie with bodysnatching parasites on mars (non Hentai), the first I've seen by choise were Battle Angel Alita and Neon Genesis Evangelion.
But speaking of Rumiko Takahashi, at least I'm not old enough to have started with Urusei Yatsura!

No it was not. Infact Inuyasha hasen't been even aired in my country. I used to watch it from the satellite from an german channal. My absolute first one was Mumin. Because the story is orginally from a finnish comic/book.

Inuyasha was the first anime that I knew was anime. I'd watched others before but didn't know what they were.

My first one was Pokemon. Second was Card Captors Sakura. I started watching them when I was four.

Even when I was really young I was a big anime/manga freak. Although I don't read/watch much of it anymore since I'm constantly busy.
