I agree, the guide is as up to date as can be right now as prices are fluctuating on some items and it's hard to determine what a good price rang for them should be right now until the prices become more grouped. The top hasn't been sold for 40k since it first came out so you were very lucky to get that much for it and I don't believe Kurai was being mean or not nice or was implying that you ripped him off, just that he was miss informed and could have tried to negotiate more if he knew about the current price situation.
Things are hard to keep on for prices when you don't sell often.
Just like when people sell old items that haven't been sold for long users try and say well the guide says this.. When really that's an old price and can't be updated because the items haven't been sold for a long time. Like the Devil items for instance. The prices seemed very accurate at the time, but once the items were sold we learned the prices jumped a lot because they are rare and the price was adjusted as needed. I think Kurai is doing a pretty good job keeping up with the prices and keeping the guide to date and users informed.
You're right though that users can of course value items at whatever they feel is right or what they would prefer to pay for them. I myself do it, specially with sets and Fairy Items. I value the fairy items very low and try to buy them for low, but if people aren't willing to sell or want to know why I value them so low I let them know.
Lilandra we're not saying you did anything wrong at all
