I think it has something to do with the amount, Firn.
From what people told me and from what I've seen from Shinji's guide, a single item could cost about 600 snowballs.
Maybe if you divide that by half (or at least lessen the amount a little), people won't complain that much.

But the thing is we only need 510 blue candies for all the items and that in itself makes it a lot more easier.
It's like the amount of blue candies that we need for all the items here is even less than the amount that people needed before in order to buy one item.

well and thats the point of view of more ppl.
so the best thing you could do is give a candy to some friends and to the posters above you :)

I musn't forget to harvest my pumpkins every day. Just a thought: won't people start making mules just to get spare costumes?

I have more blue candy as well. I think it would have been fine if everything cost the same amount of blue and pink candy. I also think things don't have to be that expensive. Once people manage to collect all they'll go for extras if the items are nice enough.
