Your eyes kind of remind me of mine, Firn, except where yours are a lighter green, mine's more of a blue-green. Unless I'm angry/upset. I looked in the mirror once when I was rather ticked, and my blue-green part had darkened to more of a tsavorite or an emerald green.
And get this... when I was born, my eyes were grey. Most everyone was expecting them to turn blue (because that's what most blue eyes look like when babies are born, I suppose), and it even says that on my birth certificate. Sometimes, I wonder what would happen if I tried to get it fixed. Maybe they'd think I stole my own identity.
In my case, my mother has blue eyes, and my dad has brown.
Yes I know, nobody knows what I'm talking about.
