Yeah she's going to have a bunch of gifts this year. I had done Toys-For-Tots last year and she never got anything. And we were home all day and no one came. Uncle and Aunty bought her some gifts. My sister says she's going to too, but I won't hold my breath on that. And we will have her birthday covered in January.

Sorry if I'm a little flighty and missed something. I'm tired today.

My niece is getting a book with toys from me, while other kids I know are getting plushies and stickers. :3

@Mikael: I'm doing a loom knit hat for him. Its gonna be a beanie. I hope that I have enough of the black yarn. I don't want to have to buy more just to do it for a little bit more.

Yeah, I know. :) It should only take me at least a week or so to finish it up. Pretty happy about my work on it so far. I have made at least 2 mistakes on it, but it really isn't that noticeable.

Ah yeah, knitting seems tough.

I wrapped some gifts today --but realized how bad I am at it. XD Good thing my friends are generally the type not to care.

Hey Prima! I'm alright, how are you?

@Mikael Hart: Yeah, when I first started to learn how to knit, it wasn't easy. But it got easy over time. I can sit down and knit for at least an hour or so as long as I have something to watch or listen to. Loom knitting is different than knitting with needles, but it is still pretty fun. :) The hat is coming out beautifully. Not very stretchy, but really nice. And don't feel bad on the wrapping, I am not very good at it too.

Aha, I do that when I have to grind in a game --if it's something kinda mundane and repetitious, then I put on a movie to keep me entertained.

Today was a pretty easy-going day for me. I played some Zelda, and I'm going to work on my writing and maybe read for a bit.

OMG! My daughter is going to make out like a bandit this year. So I mentioned before that my brother and sister-in-law bought my daughter some Christmas presents. My sister-in-law messaged me about a friend that she wanted to adopt a girl for Christmas to give gifts too and my sister-in-law suggested my daughter. Well last Thursday we had to pick my daughter up from school because the substitute teacher missed the bus with them. I noticed my daughter had new shoes that fit her better than the ones I got her. I had gotten her shoes from a thrift store. Naturally I asked my daughter where she got the shoes. Her art teacher got her them. OMG! He spent his own money which we all know isn't a lot and bought my daughter new shoes that fit her better. I cried a little, that a teacher would go and do something so nice for my daughter. Yesterday I got a phone call from my daughter's school. I was a bit worried. Turned out to be one of the counselors. She told me about an adopt-a-family event they were having. I explained my daughter was already set up with one. She said it was okay if I wanted to set her up with another. So I agreed and she's getting more clothes and I guess I am too. Today I got a phone call from Samantha at UNMC, I thought my daughter had a doctor's appointment coming up. No. She's the girl who helped me with getting clothes for my daughter at the Thrift store. She was given some money to buy my daughter clothes and toys, so she asked what my daughter needed and liked. So next week she will call me to set up the drop off at our house.

OMFG! She is going to make out good this year. And I want to cry because so many people have blessed us this year. My parents and I don't care if we don't get anything. We're just surprised that people are willing to help us get gifts for my daughter.
