I have found that different people's nails react differently to nail polish!
I had a roommate in the past whose nails just would NOT take to nail polish, even gel manicures just seem to slip off her fingers. Meanwhile, my friend at work has these super strong nails that polish can just last ages on nicely (I'm so envious of her) :mcargh:
So I don't think it's your fault Akili! People's nails are different, your's just don't like nail polish is all XD

I love admiring nail art but I wouldn't wear anything myself. Because I eat with my hands (I'm Indian). But! A pedicure is a possibility. Hmmm...

@Mynah: Manicures do make eating a pain sometimes! Whenever I eat with my hands it is always difficult to get all the sauce out of my fingers :mclol:

It is my goal this summer to pick up drawing again :mcsquee:

Have you guys been able to keep up with your hobbies? My motivation and time to draw died when I started working QAQ

My motivation and time to write fiction, poetry and fanfiction also died when I started working. Sigh. :mcdead:

I keep hobbies while I'm working because I'd go crazy if I didn't....
Things like, I pick up tiny blank notebooks in bulk, and keep one in my jacket pockets and one or two in my handbag, and when I'm walking between buildings I'll pull it out and jot stuff down or doodle in it.
One of my workplaces has a whiteboard in each room; when I'm cleaning the rooms sometimes I'll have fun decorating a border around one, or creating a tiny looped story around the edges.
Lunch breaks are when I can pull out larger projects.
and I unwind on days off with the hobbies.
Multitasking when at all possible is super helpful, too, but that's not always possible

Oh the small notebook's a really good idea! I'm going to give that a try!!

For me once work started I was too brain dead by the time I'm done for the day to do anything other than mindlessly scroll on my phone or watch youtube... QAQ

Specially on Friday afternoon, when my son is with his grandparents.

Ah ha ha ha, I was just realizing I usually have less time on weekends, but this week is an exception -maybe- we'll see how things go in the end. Any time I start thinking I know what's going to happen, someone rings up with an urgent situation and everything goes topsy-turvy.

Amura, it's so awesome your family is close enough to be able to visit frequently like that! I'm really grateful that I have some of my family close by too, but the ones who are further away, it's harder, I really miss them.
