I like the idea of getting a very simple tattoo which would hold a lot of meaning for me and wouldn't necessarily be understandable for anyone else. I haven't found such a motive yet, and if I did, I'd take a long time to consider because I feel a tattoo is a very important and permanent decision.
I was kinda thinking of maybe getting one once I finish my academical education, in the event that I would find a good idea for a motive in my final thesis or something like that. But I really don't know yet!
But in general I sometimes think tattoos that people have look very generic and I don't like them, but if it is something artistic or interesting it can look awesome in my opinion.

Q: What do you think about tattoos?
A: I think they're a beautiful way to express yourself, so long as you know what you're getting into and you think it out long and hard before getting a tattoo. They're mostly permanent and very painful to remove, so always think LONG AND HARD before you get one! You don't want to live with a life-long mistake.

Q: Do you have one?
A: Yes, I do :) On my leg, just above my ankle

Q: Want one?
A: I would like another one, yes. I hope to get one on the back of my neck.

Q: Like how they look on other people?
A: Yes, if they're done tastefully

Q: Do you dislike it?
A: I personally don't dislike tattoos, but I dislike getting them, if that makes sense. I have a phobia of needles, so when I get a tattoo, I practically freak out. It isn't the pain from the needle, just the initial shock of seeing the needle. So long as I don't watch them actually start the tattoo, I'm okay. If I see the needle before they start, I freak out. Now, with that being said, I don't mind seeing them opening up a brand new, sterilized needle! I just DON'T like seeing it in the machine and them coming at me with it! Haha! *shudders*

Q: And think people should not have them?
A: I put it this way when it comes to other people and life, whether I'm okay with people doing something or not. It's not my life. It's not my body. They can do what they want in their own life and with their own body. It's none of my business! If they want to get a tattoo, that has nothing to do with me and I see no problem with them getting one if they so wish. People like to go around and put their noses into other people's business and lives without taking a moment to think 'does this affect me personally?', 'does this have anything to do with me?', 'do I have a right to comment on how someone else lives their own life?'. 9 times out of 10, the answer is no.

Q: Do you believe in symbolism and that a wrong symbol on one's skin may have a huge impact on his/her life?
A: I don't really know, personally. I'm a big believer in certain things, like paranormal activity and wigee boards and such, but I'm not sure about how that would affect me or anything. It's hard to explain, but I have like a 6th sense feeling sometimes with certain things.

Hmm..well I find that some tattoos are very pretty but I really wouldn't get one. I always keep thinking that when I get old the tattoos on my sagging skin won't be that appealing. Though I could get it removed but why waste money

I want a tattoo very much. I'd like it to memorialize my great grandmother, who, honestly, did more to take care of me when I was small than my mother. She was killed by an unidentified cancer when I was about 12, and I miss her a lot, even if that sounds cheesy. She had birdfeeders outside her dining room window, and all year long, especially in the snowy winters, american goldfinches would come to them in droves. I could sit for ages, watching them sing and eat. We moved away from her when I was about eight, and there were no goldfinches there. When she was in the hospital (A good four hour drive away from us at best), I brought her a little ceramic goldfinch, to make sure she didn't die alone without a touch of home. After she died, my mother found it in the room and returned it to me. I still have it. I think I'd like it very much, to have a pretty little goldfinch on my shoulder.

That story is really touching. If I had this strong a connection to any motive, I'd get it as well. I hope you can make that dream come true and get it :)

I have no Tattoo and don´t want a Tattoo in fututre but I do not mind if others have one.

I just can never decide on what I want, lol.

Pretty much know I'm going to get a pirate themed tattoo at some point tho.
And I'd love a half or full sleeve of mythological creatures. ovo

I don't have any tattoos, and don'twant any visible ones. Im not decisive enough to pick out a tattoo I'd be satisfied with for life.
I'm not against tattoos though. Some look really cool, like Asian and tribal tattoos.
