I'm a picky eater and I have sensitive taste buds, so I can taste things others can't.
The dumbest thing I get told is "Just wipe it off, it'll be fine!"
>___>
If I order a burger with no ketchup, and it comes with ketchup, wiping it off won't make it taste like there was no ketchup.
The ketchup is gone, but the taste is STILL there.
And I sometimes get burgers with no onions, but the burger tastes like onions.
I used to work at a deli with my dad and we had one of those grills, so I know people cook food close together.
But it still tastes like onions XU

My aunt knows nothing about computers or technology.
Her helpful advice is "Let it rest!" if your electronic is lagging or has a virus.
I know she doesn't know, but it's a dumb thing to say.
"You cut your leg open? Just let it rest and it'll be fine \8u/"
"Your house is burning down? Just let it rest and it'll be fine \8u/"
Yeah, that doesn't work for a lot of things xD

"I'll miss the winter
A world of fragile things
Look for me in the white forest
Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)
I know you hear me,
I can taste it in your tears."

People do that to me too but with my allergies.
I'm allergic to prawns? "Just pick them out," they say. I mean, the prawn were cooked with the food so there are still traces of prawn. I CAN'T SIMPLY PICK THEM OUT WHEN THE PRAWN JUICES HAVE TOUCHED EVERYTHING ;-;

Wow, that is super dangerous. Don't they know how allergies work???

If things like this are honest mistakes, ok, but if the other person knows beforehand that someone doesn't eat the thing, it's not that hard to be a little corteous, geez.

I have sensitive buds as well and usually ask to take out the onions, pickles and sometimes sauces and it's really annoying when they give your order wrong. It's not that I wanna be digging into my food searching to take out stuff that shouldn't be there in the first place, and then it still tastes like it most of the times >.>

Though allergies are way more serious.
I have a friend who's lactose intolerant to milk and sometimes when she asked for soy milk people would completely ignore her and give her normal milk anyway. Then she'd feel unwell for the rest of the day just because someone didn't bother to properly take her order. It has happened severous times, and now she just reminds them about her intolerance right before picking her drink up and there have been times they wouldn't give it to her right away and ask to wait so they could make a new one with the soy milk this time.
I can only imagine how this can be way more dangerous for other people with more serious allergies and symptoms. :qsweat:

I don't know a lot about allergies, but I do know you can get an allergic reaction from eating something that's been made around the thing you're allergic to.
Like if you're allergic to peanuts, and you eat, I dunno, a cookie that was made in the same place as the peanuts, you can get an allergic reaction xD

I know my little cousin can't have milk or cheese or it has to be specific types.
I felt bad because I'm not used the them visiting, and everything I offered was something he couldn't eat xD

I hate when people do that. <<; My aunt, when she was alive, made us hamburgers on the grill. I told her no onions. I don't care for onions on my burger. She cooked chopped onion in the burger. I had no choice but to choke it down. DX It was either that or starve and at the time we were homeless and I was kinda desperate. Plus we were living at her house even though we were sleeping in our van and I didn't want her starting a fight with anyone. I should have faked having an allergic reaction and freaked her out. But sometimes I just can't be that mean for some reason.

I just realized that "take out" means food, dating, and murder. And if you were a female praying mantis you'd have all three.
