Oh I understand! We all take our time in doing things, don't worry about it too much. The time will come when you want it to.
I finally just bought some student driver magnets for the car, and I think that will help a lot because I'll feel more comfortable.

I am scared of heights, but planes are something else for sure... sometimes my heart randomly lurches forward, but it is generally okay.
I've actually never taken a bus either and am afraid of that too! I have been lucky to always have family who can drive me. I'm trying to learn, but it's been about 15 years, and I haven't made any progress yet...
I don't know how to drive either. Best if I don't. People might die. lol I'm also afraid of taking the bus. I don't know what I'll do when my dad passes away because I do not like driving with my brother. He's a bossy ass. <<;

I just realized that "take out" means food, dating, and murder. And if you were a female praying mantis you'd have all three.

I currently reside in Scotland but use to live in Maryland and it was kind of the opposite of New York - no public transport and most areas you had to have a car to get to. I didn't drive there - I had a family member take me to work and after work, most places were a short walk away so I often did my shopping within the hour and half I had to wait for my ride to get off of work to pick me up since he worked in the next town over unless my mom or friend stopped by to pick me up when I got off.

Have been to New York and know how crazy it can be. Was due to go with my college to NYC a few years ago but the trip was changed back to Paris and we didn't want to go back to Paris again since we went the previous year. The only funny thing would of been - I hold an US and UK passport so if we had gone, I would of waltzed right in while the rest would of had to go through customs.

I held a provisional in Maryland but during the Summer, the traffic was just like New York and I was too nervous to drive anywhere but the back roads near where we lived - we lived in a small town out in the country so was plenty of back roads that my friend would come and pick me up and just spend a few hours going down the backroads, listening to the radio and girl talk, lol.

I also hold a provisional here but since we only have the one car - I am stuck trying to arrange driving lessons than after that, I will have to find my own car but I can't complain since can walk into the town and even through my mum says I am crazy - I have walked than take public transport to the other two towns closer to us. If I get the choice, I walk but I have no issues taking the bus or trains if required. Kind of don't have the choice if I want to get Uni - kind of stuck having to take a train since no buses from my town go to there or visit friends that don't live near me.

@Sanssouci: you'll get there! it's hard, I know. I haven't even taken the test to get my permit yet.

@Khaleesii: no problem! it's all clutter at this point.

@OPLANYX: of course :qh:

@Death Candy: well, maybe your situation might change later! and we all take time to do things.

@Chloe: oh interesting. I did university in Richmond and that was already a hassle for me. The public transportation wasn't great, most of my friends were from far away, so no one had a car. And I always wanted dual citizenship somewhere..feel kinda lame with just one passport.

Everyone talks about NYC. I've just went home from there XD
Only had two days though so I've only seen Manhattan.
It wasn't as crazy as I thought. Or maybe that's because I'm used to Tokyo.

What I did find crazy were the airports. It's the only country I've ever been to that doesn't make you go through immigration when you get out of it, the only country that has such crazy security check, the only country that make everyone go through the same security lanes regardless of whether they fly domestic or internationally, the only one where anyone can get in freely to the baggage claim area, the only one that doesn't allow for baggage and immigration free transfers and I could go on.
The airports are maddening.

Carter - I like doing nothing at home. lol. It can be very nice.
I'm okay. Life is difficult. But things should start looking up next month. Yay!

I live in Kentucky in the US and the only public transportation we have is bus. But it's only in the city areas. And it's pretty awful. The buses stop running at like 11pm. I'm not sure if that's true everywhere but it was super inconvenient for me because work used to schedule me late so I would have to yell at them about it.

I know how to drive but I can't do it anymore. My chronic fatigue makes me fall asleep almost as soon as I start driving. It really sucks because as nervous driving made me at times, I really liked being independent and going out on my own occasionally.

I've never been to NYC. I would love to visit some time. I hear there's lots of really cool stuff.

In 'merica there's a lot of fear mongering which is why the security at airports is so tight. It doesn't actually help with preventing terrorists. It just makes things worse for everyone. lol.

Oh man, if you aren't white and you go without any baggage you are gonna get held back. That's a 'red flag'. lol.
