Question #40: If the person you were engaged to marry had an accident and became a paraplegic, would you go through with the marriage or back out of it?

Questions like this seem like...I don't have the right to answer them because I'm 100% Asexual and would never be in love with anyone, so my answers seem empty and unnecessary 8,u

But, if I loved them, then I wouldn't abandon them.

But paraplegics seem pretty active.
Some play sports and stuff and they were better than me, so it's not like they're fully paralyzed, so it's not as bad or hard.

It's a complicated situation, though.
No one wants to take care of someone and no one wants to be taken care of.
But to just abandon someone seems horrible to me.
My mom's friend was dying from cancer and a friend of hers was helping take care of her.
She got towards the last days of her life and she used the bathroom on herself and the friend got angry and kicked her out.
My mom's friend died not long after.
People said "Well, it was probably draining on her!" "She was probably overworked!" "It's hard taking care of someone!"
I don't care. You don't yell at a dying woman and kick her out because she used the bathroom on herself.
And that's what pisses me off when I see nurses and caretakers abusing the people they're in charge of.
I don't give a shit if it's tiresome - you choose to take care of someone, that's your job.
You don't want to do it anymore then quit.

Sorry for the rant 8D

"I'll miss the winter
A world of fragile things
Look for me in the white forest
Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)
I know you hear me,
I can taste it in your tears."

I would have married him anyway but our life would be even harder than it is already.
