LOL! Where I live it takes about 30 minutes to get to anything resembling a decent size town. There's a small town closer than that, but it doesn't have much. Luckily, I've never had to camp out. There's always been family close enough that we could stay with.
Yeah, we lived out that remote too. Dad wanted to stay away from civilization for when the Bomb hit. I'd probably still be living that remote if my parents hadn't shipped me to the city when I was in my early twenties. I miss the life sometimes, but I can't drive, and it'd be hard to walk to the store or get groceries delivered.

@Tam: Ouch. I thought being homeless for about two to three years and the five of us living in a van was bad. But living in a tent and in the snow that sucks.
My daughter would love to go camping. Somewhere there are werewolf sightings. lol
My daughter got bummed out this morning. She was planning to ask Uncle Bill (my Dad's brother) when he visits this summer if anything strange happens where he lives in Tennessee. But Grandpa told her Uncle Bill has not seen any werewolves or the wampus cat, etc. She was very disappointed. XD Apparently his part of town is boring.
Was homeless one summer with six kids and two adults living in a Bonaire I think 6000 tent trailer! My sisters and I were packed like sardines on our bed. XD I saw a young woman who was living in a tent trailer in a friend's backyard, and when she said you couldn't cook for a lot of people on the little gas stove I laughed so hard, because Mom kept us fed just fine with a stove just like the one built into her trailer!
The tent in the snow wasn't so bad. A sister and I had a big thick foam mattress and a lot of covers, and the two of us had gone to bed with our clothes on and were sleeping back to back. It was only when we had to wait to get out to pee til Dad shoveled us out that it got a little hard to take. XD
LOL If she had come and gone camping around where my siblings were when they were kids they'd have given her werewolves alright! Darn little fearless bush hippies.

its still in the single digit positives here but i dunno, i just feel cold. xD;;
Plus digits Celcius here, but I was cold and turned the heat up. Probably have to turn it back down for sleepings, because I like wrapping up in the blankets.

Thank you! It's been forever since I've had one!
It' beautiful... and I love it.
Been a PC person for most my life. It feels weird to suddenly now also have a tablet and a phone. Still figuring out what the heck to do with the tablet... mostly play games.
This is about all I got done today. Except the one ear. I did that yesterday. This is the hardest pattern I've ever done, I think.
