@Nan: Aha, go you! Though maybe you shouldn't have too much confetti. You don't want that party in your tummy!

Thanks Agi. First years (lol). All the old people diss them like "look at em first years, going to 9ams pshh, talking about HS and HS related marks like they're top shit."

@Mika
We stayed in Shinjuku. I wanna go back. We went to Tokyo Disney Sea! It was so fun but damn those lines. I pretty much ate my way about Tokyo Disney Sea. Did you hop off to Osaka as well? We just stayed in Tokyo, stayed in Hakone for 2 days, climbed a damn mountain (Mt Takao, rip me and my boyfriend, did not take ropeway up). Went to see the volcano but didn't make it past the first rope way cause it was winter and they closed early >_>; Saw a lot of naked people in the onsen. Mostly old people though. I didn't think night bathing would be so nice. We didn't go to Tokyo tower but instead we hit up skytree. Was pretty ace. There are photos of me in the cat cafe (cafe mocha in Shibuya). I love cats. Oh, I also wore kimono in Asakusa.

@Nankuii: Dude, you're making me feel nostalgic. XD

@Poshi: Nah, no Osaka for us this time. We also stayed in Tokyo area.

Oh yeah, the onsen! My friend has gone to a Korean spa here before, so she's used to it, but for me, that was a bit unusual. I haven't bathed with other folks like that since my early teen years, but I think everyone being whatever about it kinda made me whatever about it.

Which onsen did you go to, do you remember? We went to the one in Odaiba --it was so frickin' awesome. I wanted to go back, but there just wasn't enough time. That outdoor bath in those barrel-tubs though! Damn, it was so good! I didn't notice the people much; was too preoccupied with the beer, food, and the flavored milk. Being able to meet up in our yukatas was just too fun!

Oh, we went to skytree too! Aye, a good view, but we stayed a little too long for my tastes (many of my friends are into photography and they took pics of everything).

Nice! My brother's allergic to cats and my friend's allergic to rabbits, but since I love owls, I'm pretty happy with our selection.

Sounds like you had a really good time too! I'm glad it was a good experience for you.

How did you feel as a foreigner, though? Any impressions?

This time. How many times have you visited Japan?

I haven't bathed naked with folks since I was 6 o_o but I'm rather comfortable with naked people I suppose. I rather there not be a lot of people though.

I went to keio takaosan ? at the base of Mt Takao and we stayed at Hotel Okada and they had indoor onsens and there was an outdoor one next door :3 We didn't visit Odaiba because my boyfriend doesn't like getting naked in front of people. He passed on keio takaosan and went to the trick museum for an hour.

FOOD! I miss the sweets and the convenient convenience stores ;~; Onigiri breakfast was so easy.

With how many people did you go? We had a friend come along as well and she took photos of everything. Bf and I didn't mind too much but he did get angry 1 week into the trip haha

I am allergic to cats too but I sucked it up for 30 minutes because I love them.

As a foreigner it was all very exciting especially the night life. Sydney night life doesn't compare, also the accessibility of alcoholic beverages. We often wandered out of our airbnb into the centre of shinjuki at night and on weekends @_@ Never have I been so confused by malls (I'm looking at you Lumine 1 2 and Est) and hoards of people. We went to the robot cafe as well ovo; Taiko drums are cool. I wish I could speak Japanese, I felt sorry for some of the people who had to serve us.

Aha, just the once, but I definitely want to go back!

I think as long as no one's looking at anyone's junk or doing anything inappropriate, it's fine. And yeah, not too many people.

Oh, nice! Dang, that place looks great! Aha, at least your boyfriend was willing to compromise with that. I hope he had a good time at the museum.

Once I had that fruit sandwich at 7-Eleven, I would always hunt it down in the mornings. XD I love the vending machines too! We kept trying all the different drinks, but it's their coffees and teas that were really good.

I went with five other people: my brother, and our four friends. An argument or two broke out with us too, but nothing that lasted long. Everyone mostly wanted to have fun, so they pushed out the drama and talked it out.

Oh! You're Aussie! (I will probably keep forgetting this fact.) That explains your post at 4:30AM. XD

Oh yeah, the malls. Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of that set-up. I love how convenient their convenient stores are though; buying things is pretty easy there. XD

Aww, well, if it helps, Japanese people might be taking an interest in learning more English due to the Olympics.

My group got by on Google Translate and us knowing some key phrases. (Mostly it's "Where is ___?" and "Excuse me." and "Can I get ___?")

So how is everyone?

I just realized that "take out" means food, dating, and murder. And if you were a female praying mantis you'd have all three.

I want to go back already as well. Have you been to many other countries? That was the first time I had left without my parents.

I mean, we're all the same gender in those baths anyway and everyone's butts looks the same. We don't mind doing things by ourselves. We had several days where I would shop in Harajuku and Shibuya and he'd go off to play games or see bonsai.

I didn't try any fruit sandwiches. Sounds delicious. I love the vending machines too. They're way too convenient and just a dollar so you pop all your little coins in there. (I'm so happy Australian currency doesn't have THAT many coins). We had 5 in front of our airbnb. Whoa, that's a lot of people. Must've been hard to organise. We had 3 in total and all of us are very chill. The others let me plan everything cause I'm a maniac.

I completely forgot about the Olympics. I can't imagine a Tokyo more crowded than in December. It'll get pretty crazy.

We had a Chinese friend who could sound out katakana and speak little conversation Japanese ;3; She did save us multiple times. I know how to ask for the police and train station, make a reservation and uh say "3 people" when someone asks us how many on a table lol

Hey Death, I am stressed. The doctor found some pretty big lumps in my neck so I've been in for ultrasounds and blood tests. No results back yet but I hope they're nothing :3 How are you? Why so busy?

Doing good here!

@Poshi: Dude, nice avvie!

I've been to Thailand, and Hong Kong (when I was very small), but it was with family. I've gone to a couple states, though.

Aha, what foods did you like from there? I was a big fan of everything, but man, having those chicken on skewers and cream-filled pastries were so good!

We all met up before the trip and set up a GDocs account with what everyone wanted to do and trip details. One of my buddies also took charge with the itinerary.

Japan currently has a show that teaches them how to pronounce English words and tests people's English skills to prepare them for the Olympics. It's pretty fun to watch.

Aye, I hope your results come back clear, Poshi!
