Angeline had gotten a cup of coffee and was halfway through it, watching television while sitting at her kitchen counter. The flowers Phantom had ripped fro the ground were in a vase next to her, while she munched on a pastry. She saw Phantom and smiled weakly. "Hey, you all fresh and clean? I left you half a pot of coffee if you still think you need it." She still joked, but seemed a bit off, rinking her coffee and looking at her shows.

She swallowed the bite to her danish when she noticed him sit down next to her. At his apology she shrugged lightly, letting a small smile form on her lips. "It's okay....I was probably asking too many questions first thing in the morning." She drank her coffee, swallowing it and sighing softly. "I guess I should have warned you...I don't like getting yelled at." She seemed really bothered by it, her eyes always holding this sad color to it when she got yelled at like that.

Angeline seemed to think back when he asked that question. She sighed softly. "Not that it really matters anymore...but...my dad." She mumbled, looking at her coffee. "You know how those stories go...drunken father, was a good man before but became an alcoholic, started yelling and getting angry, then getting....physically aggressive." She shook her head, leaning on her hand. "Growing up with being snapped at for no reason at all gets to you, especially when you wanna be on Broadway and your dad insists you're not good enough."

"He's in jail..." She mumbled, running her fingers through her hair. "Drunk driving, hit and run." She sighed and looked to Phantom with soft eyes. "I know, stupid human problems..." She looked back down to her coffee, drinking it and sighing. "The only positive thing I can think about when it comes to those memories, is that bruises heal and scars fade." She brushed some hair out of her face, showing off a small scar just above her ear. It looked like a cut from once upon a time. "At least this one was an accident, he got angry and threw an empty bottle."

Angeline smiled softly, looking to him as he apologized. "At the same time I can't blame your kind completely either. Humans have free will, if he truly was being manipulated to do it all he would've apologized for it." She turned towards him, a gentle smile on her face as she leaned on her hand. "Thank you for caring though." She seemed to remember something and sat up straight. "Oh! Um, when do you want me to resign?" At his confused look she returned it, tilting her head. "The contract? It broke because of yesterday. You didn't think I was going to forget that did you?"
