I actually started really LOOKING for her and my sperm donor after the 23andme stuff.

I prefer large cities. mostly 'cause I can get art supplies and craft supplies a lot easier, and I can get foods that are hard to find around my small town.

Yeah, that's true. Large cities have everything.
But sometimes they are so uncomfortable. I dunno, you may have everything but that theatre, shop or friend's apartment is so far you can't just wal there.
And you need half an hour or an hour to get there by public transport, because there is so much traffic.

Here I have less options but they are easier to reach :mclaugh:
And I drive to the city when I need to.

I live in the sticks. Rural for at least 10 miles in any direction. So I have to drive out of town if I need things like art and craft supplies. Nearest Walmart is 30 minutes away.

Where I wanna move has good public transit, and plenty of sidewalks so I can go walking if I need/want to. Where I live now, there's parts of the town that don't have sidewalks, and people are idiots who glare at pedestrians for walking on the road.

My town is smallish but not so rural.
We are a fishermen town, which means you need a small industry for boat making.
I have plenty of things at a walking distance, including the market - which means I can buy fresh fish, but also some fresh meat and produce.
There are also some small stores (bakery, pharmacy, a shoe store, a kids clothing store, a hardware store) which provide most of what we need, and two small supermarkets for all the other stuff.

Nothing fancy, but for everything else I have a city not far from here.
Just 30 km or something like that.

We've got a Dollar General, and two grocery stores, plus shops along the Square, but none of those are ones that specialize in craft supplies.

Then it's quite like here.
But nothing that a trip to the city won't fix.

I just prefer living in a town and driving to the city every once in a while for whatever I can't find here, than living in the city all the time.
It's just a matter of taste, of course, all the city dwellers are likely to disagree :mccute:

I've never personally celebrated Day of the Dead, but it's celebrated in Mexico and I'm attached to it because of heritage. It's not dreary and black and gray - it's happy and colorful.
My sister mentioned Day of the Dead and my aunt being the ignorant person she is, yelled at my sister for enjoying something depressing and enjoying death.
It was so hard not to smack her 8u

Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)

It's such a cool thing.

Here we do celebrate it, but in our own way :qwhee:
Ours is not meant to be funny or colorful, but we have quite a few cool dark myths.

I usually don't even go to the cemetery anymore.
Though it's mostly because I don't leave the house much anymore because of my anxiety and the fact I have issues where I need to pee often.
I just...don't care to go.
I know there's bodies there but the people who died aren't there anymore.

I don't go much either.
My family is buried in my home town, but when I only go visit the living ones.

My grandpa died one year ago, I haven't been to the cemetery since then.
I don't see the point in visiting him or anyone else.

I miss him, but going to his grave won't change anything.
