I've always thought of Star Trek and Yuri on Ice having much more popular shows than video games. Especially as they're originally shows/movies.

star trek is big in lots of ways, show, movies, games, books..merch
yoi is big in it's anime and then merch.
I think if there was a yoi game it'd probably be one of those dating games lol

Nope, it's actually a very good time to mention such a thing because the conversation was definitely along those lines. Wow, if it was a dating sim I might actually look it up and play it! The only kinds of games I end up playing are visual novels so yeah.
