Personally I've found out those things barely work, exploring and discovering everything yourself works better. ;D
Besides, it doesn't look like you don't understand Gimp at all. You've got the basics, now it's up to your art.
I like the snowflake addition, but isn't the color a little off?
Have you finished the other stages yet?
I feel like you're gonna get some trouble with the changes in them. Maybe you should add more bodily changes; maybe give her wings, change the eye color / skin color etc? :)
I'm actually thinking of re-doing it. For this knuffle, I based it off the idea of the season passing and then her final destination. Each "stage" will really be her wearing completely different outfit. I was a bit worried about how inconsistent it was going to be so I thought I would tie each stage together with wings or something.
I've decided that I'm going to start with her spring outfit, winter being the last of the seasonal outfits, and then end with her final outfit (I'm keeping that a secret right now because I'm still fine tuning a few detail and some of them are very important in deciding her overall feel).
Also, I just found a lot of brushes for gimp and now I'm trying to figure out if using them would make it cheating in creating a knuffle...
