Kira just sat right outside the door, staring off into space and daydreaming for a while. But then her reverie was broken when she heard some weird noises coming from Ruby's room. She got up cautiously. "Ruby?" she called out. "Ruby, what's wrong?" She opened the door to see chains coming out of Ruby going in all directions. She screamed.

The second he heard his sister's scream, Kayo went into full-on street mode. "Kira!" he yelled and raced up the stairs in a flash to his sister's side. What he saw, however stopped him in his tracks. "Oh no, Ruby." He knew what was happening, now that Chaos had told him about it, but Kira didn't know yet. He wasn't surprised that she'd been so scared. "Chaos, what do we do?!" he screamed.

Chaos didn't have much to react when Kira screamed, before Kayo sprung up and ran to his sister. He followed pretty immediately though. The first thing he did was shift his arm into a scythe blade, and shielded the siblings from an incoming chain- that his meister obviously had no control over. There was a spark when the metals collided, but Chaos showed no signs of pain or intimidation. When was the last time he saw Ruby like this? ..and she was stronger. Delia had already done a number on him, which he hadn't completely recovered from- he didn't want to have to fight his meister. What was he to do?!

Sure, she'd never hurt Kira..and she was probably only one who could get through to her with the least bit of problems..or injuries.. but he couldn't ask her to take that risk! Chaos felt the lunacy tugging at Ruby, and he glanced back at the siblings, mainly at Kayo. "Don't ague with me, go downstairs with your sister and- give me a minute." He said to Kayo as calmly as he could manage. Chaos was her weapon, her creation, he had to try.

Kayo bit his lip. He'd told Chaos that they'd help out as much as they could if something like this happened again, but now he had absolutely no idea what to do. So he tried to do the one thing he could do: protect his sister. "Come on, Kira!" he said and took her by the hand to lead her out.

Kira, however, was frozen by the sudden events that were happening around her. She was scared for what was happening to her best friend, and even more scared that she had no idea what to do to help. But she still didn't move, even when Kayo tried to get her down.

"Chaos! You're still hurt from yesterday!" She cried out, knowing that Chaos was probably going to fight Ruby. "You can't face her like this!" She really hoped he was listening to her. "Let me try to calm her down, please! She's never hurt me before!" She looked pleadingly at Chaos.

Chaos glanced over at his Meister as she tried to gain control of herself, and deflected another stray chain, with a small amount of effort. They didn't have time for debates! He could hear Kira's plea, but he couldn't allow her that kind of risk.. "No Kira, you're just going to have to trust me!" He said to her. He wasn't planning on fighting her- but if it came down to it, what choice would he have? Arguing wasn't going to change anything.

Ruby held her head and kept her eyes sealed shut, as her chains ignored her will to calm, because of her fear of harming her friends. Much like a sorceress having their magic back-fire when doubting themselves. "All of you should just leave!" She called, her voice as indifferent as her lunacy laced her words.

No way in hell was he leaving her like this.

Once the twins had finally gone downstairs, Chaos relaxed slightly. At least now they were out of her reach. He returned his arm to normal and steadily walked into Ruby's mess of a room, due to the frenzied chains of hers. "Ruby, look at me." He said to her in a lowered tone as he approached his meister. A tight smirk tugged at her lips. "Leave me.." She murmured. Ruby opened her eyes and stared at Chaos, who only paused. "Leave you, like this? You shouldn't have kept it all within yourself!" He spoke, taking a step foreword.

When he did, her chains turned on him and one of them wrapped around his neck, but he didn't flinch. Which didn't help Ruby's sanity. "Stop it!" Ruby cried. "I'm fine." Chaos spoke calmly, his golden eyes locked on his meister. "The twins are fine." He said to her. Chaos raised his hand and took Ruby's into his. He was going to try and link a connection with her, and search her soul to find her and pull her out of whatever caused her lunacy to spike, knowing full well of the backlash.

The twins went downstairs, and just stayed there, hearing everything that was going on upstairs. Both wished that they could help, but both knew that they couldn't. It was almost cruel, being told to leave like this, but they couldn't deny that it was for the best. Neither one knew what to do in events like this.

Half of her tried rejecting him, while the other half called to him as he resonated with her. It was hard on him, both his body and his soul. Dealing with lunacy was completely different then dealing with the madness, caused by black blood. Two different ball games entirely!

It took some time, but Chaos was able to resonate with his Meister long enough to pull her out of her 'darkness', and her chains went back inside herself. Ruby blinked a few times, and she couldn't help but look at her destroyed room. Her desk was broken, her books scattered with some torn, her bookcase collapsed.. Did she really do this? "I get..why you made me.." Chaos spoke in a lowered voice, smirking at her. "Chaos!" Ruby nearly jumped off her bed to catch him, and keep him from hitting the floor. "I'm so sorry..." She shuffled, tears brimming her eyes. Chaos chuckled, despite his pain.

The second they heard things grow quiet upstairs, the twins ran upstairs to see what was going on.

Kayo ran and stood at the door, hardly able to believe what he was seeing. Chaos had collapsed, and Ruby was holding him. And the room was as good as destroyed. He couldn't imagine what exactly had happened while he and Kira were downstairs.

Kira didn't wait even a second to react to what was going on. She ran over to her friends' side and put a hand on Ruby's shoulder and another on Chaos's hand. "We should get him to see Stein," she said quietly.

Chaos went to try and get up, but Ruby held him still. "You're not getting out of this one." She murmured softly, unable to look at her friends for all the guilt bubbling inside of her. "Kayo.. help him up? We'll all go together.." She voiced as more of a question, then suggested that they all went to see Stein- seeing how the twins now knew her secret..and it'd make it easier on Chaos.
