I don't know if I'd be able to take care of a crippled or sick kitty. I mean, it would probably depend how severe it would be but I don't know.
I too believe adopting is much better than buying, also if it's about pet shops. *wants to go back to the mall and ask about that bunny for adoption*

Yeah, but I can also understand people who are absolutely in love with a particular breed. It's extremely hard to find them in shelters imo or up for adoptions on websites. Wait, I think I found an announcement once about one of the breeds I really wanted "to be given away in good hands", I think it was about american pitbull terriers. But how can I take a pup if I don't have my own place to live and I'm doomed to granny's big fat NO

I mean, I could persuade her (after getting the dog first) but still, I don't want to force her, it's still her apartment and I'm a guest there, no matter how "at home" she wants me to feel.
