So I was making a post in another topic and I couldn't spell Amateur. Spell check suggested armature, ad mature from the ways I was trying to spell it. I finally decided to google it by putting "Not Professional" in the search box. That lead me to Crossword puzzle answers and finally to the proper way to spell the word I was looking for.

I've had problems with embarrass before too. What words does Spell check fail you on?

Wasn't really Spellcheck, but I used Google to look up "The Vanishing Hitchhiker" and it gave me pictures of the Bloody Mary drink >>
It would have made sense if I had looked up "Bloody Mary" but I did not 8u

As for Spellcheck, I saw Popodoki's thread about "itabags", I typed it in and was given "teabagging" when I clicked on it xD

I had no idea Spellcheck was so vulgar 8///u

A world of fragile things
Look for me in the white forest
Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)
I know you hear me,
I can taste it in your tears."

It usually fails me in the sense that I want to use a meme spelling like mah or bork or something and it corrects it to the normal version .-.

Shorthand words, and stuff like Yokuutsu said. Also, but this is kinda my fault, when I'm texting someone and forget to change the language beforehand so I'm like a paragraph in and everything is different because french and English do not compute. ._.

It usually fails when I type in a different language and it keeps suggesting or autocorrecting in its original setting.
My favourite is an autocorrect though: possess -> pose ass

It annoys me every time due to the fact that a lot of spellcheckers don't have Australian spelling but my phone's in Australian English so my words get autocorrected (eg colour) and they are marked as incorrect spelling.

@theonewhoseeks, seriously, possess -> pose ass? Usually when I type "bad" words they get corrected away from them, how'd you get yours to correct towards a bad word? xDD

My problem is that unless I am using Microsoft Word, I get corrected to American English instead of New Zealand/British English. It is Mum not Mom, Favourite and not Favorite and so on.
Americanised words are annoying and I get so sick of Americans attempting to correct my spelling even though they are the ones who spell the words wrong.

I really like when I'm trying to type character names and it autocorrects it to something so absurd I'm floored. I know one of my character's names wanted to be something inappropriate and me and my roommate died of laughter. Not sure which name it was now though. Wufei wanted to be wife.

I've also been writing in google docs lately and I miss-typed enjoyed as unjoyed and it accepted that word. No red squiggles underneath at all, so I'd consider that a massive fail. Unjoyed?? :/
