I know how that is. I was working on a drawing once and I had to get my daughter to bed and I was tired too so I was going to go to bed too. But I couldn't sleep because my brain was still on the drawing and I had to get up and finish it. Then I was able to get some sleep. lol
My cats only wake me up when they lay on my bladder. Or if I'm laying on my side Siris will lay next to my face and try to suffocate me. lol

I just realized that "take out" means food, dating, and murder. And if you were a female praying mantis you'd have all three.

my brain runs wild so much that I just lay awake for hours thinking about it.
That's pretty much been several times since 2020 started. My brain just went into overdrive with art.

I have that problem too often. My brain sometimes feels like it's on fire because I can't stop thinking.

Maybe you should first give your creativity flows a go before you force yourself to go to bed.
What about getting an alarm clock? I mean your phone has one right? Even though you don't have to go to work or anything, you can still try to wake up at 12pm ?

Today I'm lucky my daughter is over at her aunt's and cousin's. So I only have to take care of Mom, so I have a bit of free time until she wants me.
